Located in rural Southeast Connecticut, in the small town of Moodus, CT, east of the Connecticut river, New Beginnings for Life embraces the charm and seasons of New England. Dotted with horse and dairy farms, this area is rich in culture, entertainment, and beautiful beaches. Attractions such as Gillette's Castle, Goodspeed Opera House, Mystic Seaport and Aquarium, are all minutes away. Six Flags New England, and the theater and concert houses of Hartford, New Haven and New London are within a short drive.

Our home is nested on three acres of land, and offers quiet private country living, with lots of room for both flower and vegetable gardens.

Our main house, which we refer to as "Farm house," was built in 1840, and is a charming.

The second house, we refer to as the “back house” was once the barn of this dairy farm, but was recently converted to a contemporary art studio before becoming our home. With its cathedral ceilings and skylights, it offers an open floor plan with lots of space to move around. This house is perfect for our residents in wheelchairs.
